Herb visits… Superdawg

We have lost count of the number of times an enticing shopfront has lured us to an unsatisfactory experience. Happily the dancing hot dogs atop Superdawg are just the beginning of a treat which is as overwhelming for the eyes as it is the stomach.

Superdawg's loving couple adorn napkins, drink cups, and best of all, the rectangular boxes in which the food is "gently placed" and "contentedly cushioned on Superfries". In Chicago hot dogs are a tradition, the relative qualities of different outlets hotly debated. As outsiders perhaps our opinion is to be treated with caution, but for us, the family-run Superdawg, for its cheerful, dancing dogs, triangle motif and wildly delicious wieners, sits right at the top of the heap.
